L&L Property Management collects only what we need to manage rentals well — and we tell you exactly what that is.

01 · What we collect

When you use llpm.org or our services, we collect three buckets of information.

Information you give us — your name, email, phone, mailing address, property address, and anything you write in our forms (the rental-analysis request form, the Charleston Investor Brief signup, owner onboarding, resident applications and lease documents).
Information collected automatically — basic web analytics (pages viewed, device type, approximate location from IP, referring source). We use a privacy-respecting analytics provider; we do not sell or share this data.
Information from third parties — credit, identity, and rental-history data pulled during resident screening, with consent. Public records pulled during property valuation.

02 · How we use it

We use this information to manage rentals on behalf of owners and to communicate with prospective and current owners and residents. Specifically:

Responding to rental-analysis requests and management inquiries.
Sending the Charleston Investor Brief and other content you've explicitly subscribed to.
Operating leases, collecting rent, processing maintenance, and reporting financial activity to owners.
Screening rental applicants in accordance with the Fair Housing Act.
Meeting our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not use your data to train large language models or sell it to third-party marketers.

We share information only with the parties needed to do the work — our screening provider, our payment processor, our accounting software, our email provider, and (when legally required) regulators and counsel. We do not sell personal information.

04 · Cookies

llpm.org uses a small set of first-party cookies for session state and a privacy-respecting analytics cookie. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

05 · Your rights

You can ask us at any time to: confirm what we hold about you, correct it, delete it (subject to legal retention obligations), or stop sending you content. Email info@llpm.org and we'll respond within 30 days.

06 · Children

llpm.org is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

07 · Updates

We post the date of the most recent update at the top of this policy. Material changes are emailed to active owners and residents 30 days before they take effect.
